San Diego customized insoles orthotics

Orthotics from Your San Diego Chiropractor

Orthotics are covered by most insurance plans because insurance companies realize the value of orthotic therapy.

Dr. Jeffers uses an office system to provide custom-made orthotics that will fit in any shoe. A 5-minute gait and pressure analysis test with this system can tell you are a candidate for orthotics.

First, the patient walks across the force plate.

Next, Dr. Jeffers reviews preliminary test results with the patient and explains the gait line based on images provided in the analysis.

The orthotic/insole manufacturing process is performed at a orthotics plant. The orthotic module is formed and molded to correct the unique biomechanics of each individual patient.

Custom Orthotics

Orthotics are customized insoles that correct and improve the way your feet strike the ground.

Orthotics reduce the biomechanical strain on your feet and body. They relieve alignment problems that can lead to foot, ankle, leg, hip, and lower back pain.

Foot Orthotics do not change your body, but assist you in performing to a higher level. Foot Orthotics can be prescribed to enhance athletic performance or to properly redistribute the weight on the foot and correct any abnormal foot motions or biomechanical faults.

Achilles Tendinitis, one of the more common and difficult injuries to treat in athletes, tendinitis involves inflammation, degeneration or rupture of the Achilles tendon.

The Achilles tendon, located at the back of the heel and inserted into the rear portion of the heel bone, is surrounded by a vascular sheath which provides the tendon fibers with its blood supply.
